Being an environmentally conscious individual is a great mindset to have, but what exactly does that mean?

Environmentally conscious simply means caring and showing concern towards our environment. You don't have to delve deep into saving the earth, even small everyday helpful tasks will help one become more environmentally conscious. The Three R's are easy enough for anyone to do: reduce, reuse, and recycle. By paying attention to waste people use on a daily basis and disposing of it in a safer way or finding a new use for say a plastic bottle can help reduce the waste found on beaches, forests, and/or everyday sidewalks. We can keep our Earth beautiful by using the Three R's.

A big one which BEAT is an advocate for predominantly is the conservation of energy. Not only does this help reduce our carbon footbrint, but it also reduces electricity and gas costs in homes. Who doesn't want to save money, right?

An environmentally conscious individual is willing to learn more about the environment and has a kinder touch to nature than those who are not.
